About the foundation
The Hinton Foundation was founded at the conclusion of 2017, when our founder, along with a team of colleagues began to think about the problems students face when trying to obtain a post-secondary degree. They realized that marginalized students are underrepresented in major fields of study that are needed in our ever changing world. To combat this issue, Christopher Hinton, along with his family founded the Hinton Foundation to engage its community, advocate for students who excel in various areas across the academic realm, and ultimately empower the next generation of World Changers.
Currently, the Foundation works diligently to fulfill its principles of engagement, advocacy, and empowerment. Our scholarship fund supports current and college-bound marginalized-undergraduate students, pursuing degrees fields related to Business, STEM, or Early Childhood Education.
Over the next few year’s, our goal is to continue to expand and offer more things to holistically support our scholars, community, and ultimately our world.
